More Americans reject link between Holocaust denial, antisemitism as anti-Jewish attitudes rise—survey

Hey Watchmen, This survey doesn't surprise me one bit. When Americans start shrugging off the plain, historical fact of the Holocaust, and at the same time hostility toward the Jewish people is rising in the streets, on campuses, all over social media -- that's not two separate trends, my friends, that's one and the same spirit. I've said it before from the pulpit: the numbers don't lie. We watched the anti-Semitic incident counts climb year over year, and now here's a study telling us the very people who should be most alarmed by that climb are instead losing their grip on why it matters. That's deception doing its quiet work. Light versus dark. Good versus evil. It really is that simple, and it's been that simple since Genesis. Understand something, watchmen -- when a nation starts letting the memory of what was done to the Jewish people go soft, when it stops teaching it, stops believing it, stops caring, that nation is not standing still. It's moving. Scripture warns us plainly in Zechariah 12:3 that Jerusalem, and by extension the Jewish people, will be "a burdensome stone for all peoples." Every empire that's picked that stone up and tried to heave it has ended up broken by it -- Spain, England, France, every last one of them a shadow of what they were. Denial isn't neutral. It's a hand reaching for that stone, and this country is reaching right now. So watch the trend lines, but watch your own household of faith even closer. Teach your children what happened and why it still matters. Don't let the deception of forgetting take root under your own roof. Stay awake, stay rooted in truth, and stay ready -- because the Bridegroom is coming, and He is not looking for a Body that's fallen asleep on watch.
