New Colombian and Slovenian governments flip Israel policy, to move their embassies to Jerusalem

Hey Watchmen, Here we go again — Colombia and Slovenia flipping their Israel policy and moving embassies to Jerusalem. My friends, watch what's happening here, because this is bigger than diplomacy. Nations are being forced to take a side on Jerusalem, and Zechariah told us this would happen — that in the last days Jerusalem becomes a "burdensome stone for all peoples" (Zechariah 12:2), a city every nation has to reckon with whether they want to or not. You don't see countries lining up to move embassies to Ramallah or Damascus. They're lining up on Jerusalem because Yah put His name there, and the nations know it whether they admit it or not. Now I want to be careful here, because I've said this before and I'll say it again — I'm not putting my faith in Colombia's government, Slovenia's government, or any government, including our own. Politicians flip policy when it's convenient and flip it right back when it's not. Today it's "we're moving our embassy," tomorrow some new administration comes in and reverses it. I love these nations, I love the people in them, but I don't build my hope on a parliament's vote. These moves are encouraging, they're real signs of the times, but they are not the anchor. What I do trust is that Yah is sovereign over the nations, and He's moving the pieces on this board whether the players know it or not. Psalm 122 tells us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem — that's still our job, regardless of who's redrawing embassy maps this week. So take this as what it is: another marker on the road, another nation being drawn into the Jerusalem question the Word said would come. Stay watching, stay ready, and keep your eyes on Yerushalayim — not on the headlines.
